Delhi – Arvind Kejriwal announced Special campaign against dengue.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on wednesday announced a special campaign against infectious disease which will involve wide participation of individuals in preventing spread of mosquito-borne diseases.

Kejriwal said he himself together with his ministers and government officials can help check mosquito breeding.

“I charm to delhi residents to give 10 minutes each Sunday from Sep one until Nov fifteen, in making certain there’s no stagnant water in their homes or surroundings, that causes breeding of dengue carrier mosquito,” Kejriwal aforementioned at a group discussion.

The chief minister said efforts like establishing Mohalla Clinics and fever clinics have led to eighty per cent decrease in dengue, chikangunya cases in past 3 years.
