Delhi – Dwarka-Najafgarh Grey Line for metro starts today.

The over 4.2 km-long grey Line of the Delhi subway, which will connect urban village area of Najafgarh to the rapid transit network for the primary time, will be opened for passengers from weekday evening, officials said.

The corridor consists of 3 stations– Dwarka (interchange with Blue Line), Nangli and Najafgarh.

“The Dwarka-Najafgarh corridor of {delhi|Delhi|Old Delhi|city|metropolis|urban center} tube will be formally flagged off these days by Minister of State (Independent) for Housing & Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal,” a senior DMRC official said.

The flagging-off ceremony is slated to require place at tube Bhawan at eleven am and passenger services on the section shall begin from five pm, said Anuj Dayal, the executive director, company communication of the DMRC.

With the gap of this section, the Delhi tube network can expand to 377 km with 274 stations, including the Noida-Greater Noida blue Line.
