India vs New Zealand Semi-finals, Fans Pray for the team.

Ahead of India’s semi-final clash against New Zealand on nine July at recent Trafford, Manchester, fans of the men in Blue back in india prayed to the Gods for the team to induce a victory over the Kiwis and proceed to play the finals of the world Cup. The cricket fever has gripped since the globe Cup began and ever since India confirmed their semi-finals berth, the fever has solely fully grown, with individuals taking up any and all means to try to to their bit to india make it to the finals.

In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a group of individuals offered prayers at the Sangam and offered a chadar at a dargah, praying for india to win the contest. Fans ar seen holding posters of the Indian squad along with the flag, praying to the Gods for the men in Blue.

In a country wherever cricket is often cited as a religion in itself, the passion and faith of the fans seems to know no bounds. 2 days earlier, KR Ramakrishnan, a Lord Ganesha devotee and a cricket fan had laid the groundwork to a ‘Cricket ganesh Temple’ in Chennai.
