Indian Air Force (IAF) – Airlifted 58 people in Thane. 6 killed.

At least six persons were killed in rain-related incidents in mumbai and elsewhere maharashtra, when the Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters air-lifted 58 people marooned in a very flooded village in Kalyan taluka of Thane district and the NDRF and therefore the native fireplace brigade personnel rescued a minimum of 850 stranded folks from inundated low-lying areas of Kurla and Santa Cruz in metropolis and Vasai taluka in Palghar district.

While a slum dweller known in concert Mehaboob Mazar Shaikh (20) was over excited in swollen waters of a creek at Dharvi in north-central mumbai, one os Bhumanna Naagam (52) and her Sanket Bhumanna Naagam (26) were electrocuted in their home close to Raje Sambaji faculty at Santa Cruz’s Golibar Rao in north-west mumbai.
