ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 successfully entered in the moon orbit.

ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 successfully entered into the orbit of the Moon nowadays at 9.02 am. in a very statement, India’s area agency said that the satellite Orbit Insertion or LOI maneuver was completed with success using the onboard propulsion system.

The maneuver’s period was around 1738 seconds. Chandrayaan-2 achieved the orbit of 114 km x 18072 km. After this, series of orbit maneuvers are going to be performed on Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft to alter it to enter its final orbit passing over the lunar poles at a distance of concerning one hundred km from the Moon’s surface.

After this, the Vikram lander can break free the satellite and enter into a one hundred km X thirty km orbit round the Moon. The Vikram lander can do a series of complicated braking maneuvers to soft land within the South polar region of the moon on Sept 7, 2019, said ISRO in its press statement. All the systems of Chandrayaan-2 are healthy, said the area agency.
