Over three hundred students and teachers of a private school, who were stuck during a building for the last 2 days because of floods triggered by significant rains and discharge of water from the overflowing Rana Pratap sagar dam, were reclaimed on Mon in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan, an official said.
They were rescued by SDRF groups that took them to Rawatbhata and later they were born at their homes, Bhainsroadgarh police office SHO Gopal avatar aforesaid.
As several as 318 students from class five to twelve and twenty five teachers were stuck during a building close to their faculty since Saturday when roads resulting in the educational institute got inundated because of discharge of water from the dam.
“The faculty management shifted them to the close building wherever arrangements of food and water were created with the assistance of native villagers. The water level reduced nowadays and groups rescued all of them safely,” the SHO said.
