Tamil Nadu – 5 More cases of dengue detected in Thanjavur district.

Five patients suspected with dengue fever are admitted to a government hospital at Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur district in 2 days.

Out of those 5, 3 were working at a private corporation in chennai and had came to their native place recently when they were diagnosed as dengue positive at a private hospital in chennai. Relatives of Surya, 25, Thamizhselvan, 28, and Parthiban, 27, who are natives of Thirunageswaram close to Kumbakonam, hip to that the trio work on a non-public firm and stayed in an exceedingly hostel at Maraimalai Nagar.

Meanwhile, the 2 others suspected patients of dengue fever symptoms were admitted to the hospital on Mon. All the 5 patients are kept in separate wards.

A few days past, 3 folks from Melathirumathikunnam village in Tiruvarur were suspected to be suffering from dengue fever. They were admitted to the govt. medical faculty hospital in Tiruvarur. within the last week itself, over twenty folks suffering from prolonged fever were treated at the govt. hospital in Tiruvarur.
